Monica is a highly experienced and dedicated music educator at Beaumont Music Academy, specializing in piano, voice, and ukulele instruction. Originally from Romania, Monica holds a Bachelor of Music degree from "Transilvania" University, with a focus on Music Pedagogy, Piano, and Choral Conducting. In Romania, she honed her teaching skills at the School of Fine Arts in Lugoj and served as a Musical Supervisor at the Brasov Opera House.
After moving to Canada, Monica furthered her education at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, earning a Diploma in Education and additional training in music pedagogy. Over the past two decades, she has worked as a music specialist and contract teacher in various schools, including the Coquitlam School District and Parkland School Division. Her career is marked by a commitment to providing high-quality education in a caring and safe environment, tailoring her approach to meet the individual needs of her students.
Fluent in French as a second language, Monica brings a multicultural perspective to her teaching. She has participated in numerous professional development workshops on topics such as classroom management, curriculum adaptation, and Orff music for children, enhancing her ability to engage and inspire her students.

Meet Teacher Grace (Voice & Piano)
Grace Samycia is a talented and dedicated music educator who brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the arts to Beaumont Music Academy. Born and raised in Edmonton, Grace has been immersed in the world of music from a young age. Her journey began with piano lessons, where she developed a strong foundation in music theory and technique. Over the years, her love for music grew, leading her to pursue voice lessons, choral singing, and eventually a professional career in music education.
As a classically trained soprano, Grace has honed her vocal skills through over ten years of rigorous voice training and more than fifteen years of choral singing. She has performed with some of Edmonton’s most prestigious choirs, including the Edmonton Columbian Choirs, Alberta Youth and Treble Choir, and currently, the Concordia Concert Choir, Ariose, and St. Benedict’s Evensong.
Grace’s extensive performance experience includes solo work in various recitals and concerts, where she has captivated audiences with her vocal clarity, emotional expression, and stage presence.
Grace’s academic achievements further underscore her commitment to music. In 2024, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Vocal Pedagogy and Performance Certificate from Concordia University of Edmonton. These credentials reflect her deep understanding of both the artistic and technical aspects of singing. Additionally, Grace is pursuing a Bachelor of Education at Concordia, with the goal of becoming an elementary music teacher, where she can inspire young minds through music.

Olga holds a Master of Arts in Music Education from Kharkiv National University of Arts and a Master of German Philology from Zaporizhzhia National University. Her extensive education is complemented by her participation in international workshops and seminars, including those in Austria, Germany, and Ukraine. Meet Teacher Felipe (Guitar, Drums, Piano, Voice)
Felipe is an accomplished guitar player, music producer, and dedicated teacher with years of experience in both performance and instruction. His passion for music began at a young age, inspired by his parents' love for music. At just 8 years old, Felipe started his formal music education in Chile, studying percussion with the Chilean fireman band. Soon after, he discovered his true passion for guitar, eventually mastering it as his main instrument.
Felipe’s extensive musical education includes a Bachelor's degree in Music from Universidad Tecnológica de Chile INACAP, where he developed skills in a range of instruments and disciplines. At Beaumont Music Academy, Felipe offers lessons in electric guitar, classical guitar, piano, drums, music theory, bass guitar, and ukulele. His diverse background allows him to teach students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
Felipe’s teaching philosophy focuses on creating a strong foundation while keeping lessons engaging and fun. He has taught in schools and offered private guitar lessons, always personalizing his approach to meet each student's unique needs.
